- What does BYOS actually mean?
- You connect your own LLM provider (Claude, GPT/Codex, or a local on-device runtime). All inference runs on your account, not ours. We charge for the platform; you pay your provider for tokens. No markup, no surprise bill.
- Why fair-use runtime limits instead of "truly unlimited"?
- Hosting deployed apps costs real money (bandwidth, function execution, database). A "truly unlimited" Pro plan would force us to either eat unbounded compute or shut down popular apps. Fair-use lets every Pro/Team subscription cover its own footprint, plus headroom — overages bill at the cost of the underlying resource, never as profit centers.
- Can I switch plans later?
- Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time. Plan changes prorate to the day. Projects, code, and deploy history are always preserved. Bandwidth and function-hour quotas reset on the next billing cycle.
- What happens if I cancel or stop paying?
- Your account drops to Free. Apps over the Free quota are paused — not deleted — and their code, data, and deploy history are retained for 90 days. Resume any paused app by upgrading again. Past 90 days without reactivation, paused apps and their runtime data may be removed; your source projects in Studio are kept regardless.
